Looks like a back five, no sign of Willock, Field, or Dozzell

Gape? Nope!

I'd rather leave the existing gape as is, than sign this person who will not fill that void.

The floppy haired Robbie Savage-lite who came on in the Reading midfield is Robbie Savage's son in case anyone was wondering!

How did Gape play

There CB nearly scored, ran through a massive Gape in midfield, unchallenged.

A lot of work needed before the season starts

Reading have cut us open a few times and we also don't seem to have an attacking pattern or idea what to do in the final 3rd

Richards run and shot wide when he had Dixon-Bonner on the overlap in a better position. Clearly talented but he needs to work on his decision making

Richards smart header from a nice run and cross from Dixon-Bonner.

Dixon-Bonner did really well there, looks good in the more attacking positions!

Richards

Cross from the left from Dixon-Bonnar, nice header from 8 or 9 out from Richards against hits the back post. Kargbo with the tap-in.

Begovic will be a great signing, given our resources.

Larkeche looks composed and efficient.

Dykes Kelman partnership could work for us at times.

Pedder is a busy player.

Richards decent header to score.

Probably a centre mid and right back required given our wage constraints

But myself unless some of the younger players can step up another centre forward and another centre back but am expecting these positions to be covered by what we already have within.

Noticeable difference with second half team though.

If we manage to keep Chair, Field and Willock, am hopeful.
