Someone's clearly got hold of Rooney. He's sober, slimmer, well turned out, and speaking in complete sentences. |
He was really good at spotting things that went onto happen in a game, he's say what would happen and then when the game started again you could see exactly what he said playing out, don't often get that with pundits.
Have always liked Rooney, shame it didn't work out as a manager but he seems happy in this role |  | | |

Well listen I can’t talk can I, having spent the last 20 years taking the pis out of him on here, but yeh I squirmed at that and thought it was mean spirited and not right.
When he was at Plymouth a mate of mine had a kid in uni down there who said Rooney would just sit at the back of the student union bar every night because it was the place that opened latest in town. In the end all the kids sort of got used to it - oh yeh that’s Wayne Rooney.
If he genuinely has sorted himself out and kicked the drink then fcking good for him cos it’s not easy, and not something to kick him for. |  | | |

Yep that's the one.
They cause you to feel full when you are not and make you very against having anything that spikes your blood sugar levels.
Just as a comment on these, as I see a lot of overweight people in my work, some literally dont eat and certainly dont get enough nutrients and two or three I know, massively less in weight but they look unwell as opposed to obese but looking healthy within themselves.

Yes, seems to have finally grown up at 40 and taking steps to whack 20 years of beer, pizza and cigarettes off.
Deserves compensation as well from whoever talked him into that disastrous dye job before last nights game. | | | |

Both ITV & BBC had highlights online every day within 90 mins of the game finishing. The time difference meant doing a MOTD style show was pointless, only time they could put it on was lunchtime when most people at work
I thought the coverage on both channels was pretty good, Rooney was really good on BBC, his summary of the half time show was superb

Thast where people watch now online on youtube or through apps like iplayer or itvx.
they've tried in recent years with Peter Crouch show at the Euros and things like football focus but people don't watch them they prefer podcasts.

One of those spirals I think. Less people watching = less interest in churning out content = even less people watching.
Beeb gotta make up the license fee somehow, want $50 a year for people in the US to subscribe to read BBC news articles. Which i sort of get and would understand if it wasn't already littered with adverts. |  | | |
