Up against Man City in the FFS that was offside FA Cup. I prepare to stand corrected but I think Charlie is still our player but as I take as much interest in modern football players contracts and transfers as I do in mobile phone contracts I could be wrong. Either way seems like a good lad and having a decent season with a club I like so up the O’s!
Up against a central defender today in Ruben Dias who’s worth approx £75 mil … would love to see Charlie meg him.

I'll stand by my claim, currently shared only with myself, that a fit Celar is the second coming of Clive Allen, based on nothing whatsoever, except that swivel volley against Cardiff, followed by that classy chip
In that particular parallel universe Tony Scully and George Kulscar both went on to have stellar top flight careers following their heroics against Palace.

Some good finishes there but all in the 18 yard box, we hardly ever create chances like that for our strikers! And haven't for years it feels like.
Interesting. Celar is that type of striker so would we have room for two of them? Nonetheless, we'll have to have a close look at Kelman when he returns.

There more than a hint of Charlie Austin in those goals, vision and positioning coupled with clinical finishing.
The grass is always greener.

We used to create quite a few for Lyndon but he’d almost certainly be at the wrong post having made completely the wrong decision.
We adjusted for that by taking more long range shots and not really scoring that way either ! IMO, that’s why Celar struggled for a long time and then finally clicked just before he got injured.
If we take Kelman back and Celar is fit again, I think you have two better finishers up front that would be more clinical BUT only if we play that way and have confidence they will score.
And let’s face it, if we scouted Kelman and signed him for 2-3M we’d all be looking forward to him scoring for us. Personally, I can’t wait for him to come back and see what he can do. He’s certainly earned the right to have a crack next season with his loan and goals.
Good on him and if we can do the same with Alfie next season, even better.
Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

We complain when the young uns go on loan and don't tear up trees in the lower leagues.
Well, Kelman and Larkeche have proven it down the leagues and elsewhere now.
I am not a fan of Kelman, I can see that he can pass and shoot, but I am not sure he can hold the ball up Gallen style and he's not fast enough for the Champ and of course I am not sure he wants to do the nasty run run run (Madsen jogging along).
Buts he's done the business so, deserves a chance in the 1st team from the subs bench next season with Lloyd going out on loan.
Larkeche needs to be brought back, especially as Fox is probably off. Then we have Dale and Larkeche for that position.
zzzzzzzzzz

Passing and shooting = improvements in some departments. Scoring more than 10 a season would be a ‘Daniel’ (Farke-n) revolution.
I’m not sure I have seen Vale in any defensive clips - so far. My impression is that we have bought another left sided attacker or midfielder at best.
I hope I’m wrong and he can play at LB because Larkeche also appears to be better going forwards than defending, as is the Brazilian lad we signed.
Maybe we will change formation and play 2:2:5:1 next season to accommodate everyone we are recruiting.
It’ll be the CB sick notes, behind the housewives’s favourites, 5 minions and Gru if we aren’t careful.

Harvey Vale played 14 games at LB for Bristol Rovers last season. He's played in various positions, from back to front, so could be something of a utility player for us.
