I’ll put my prediction in when it’s been determined if people who dare to have a scouse accent are allowed to attend.

6180 Gordon Interview on the Website is a good one.. The players are looking forward to it and are ready to play... fully focused on the game tomorrow. Good acknowledgement that Spennymoor are worthy opponents getting to the Semi Final. Up the Dale. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

We're probably affected by the 3 pm blackout as Prem League is back. As someone said earlier, Dale Player should be available.

They are worthy opponents and anyone with a 200+ goalscorer for them should be respected. Yes if we play to our potential and take our chances we should win but FC united showed us that any result could happen on any given day.

FA Trophy semi on 18:41 - Apr 4 with 2670 views | Clivert | Only 6 seats available in The Pearl Street Stand now, you can see those two blocks in the Willbutts sell out tomorrow morning. Regardless of personal opinions regarding McNulty and tactics tomorrow is a fantastic opportunity not just to get to Wembley but to get this much talked about 'Project 5000' up and running! The large crowd will obviously make for a better than usual atmosphere and the club will have many new emails addresses to use to try and attract new supporters with ticket, club shop and other offers. It's golden opportunity both on and off the pitch!

My thoughts too. They’ve done really well with the publicising of this match and the plans for the build up tomorrow so it would be a tragedy if it wasn’t capitalised on by engaging with any potential new supporters. All we can ask is that it’s kept up.

Agree, and time for all qualms to be set aside, both by fans and the team itself This is our most important cup semi-final since 1962; indeed, only our second ever semi-final involving teams on a national basis The first full, or almost full house of the Ogden era and something that may never have been possible again at the COA but for them. That's who the manager, players and fans should be going all out for tomorrow

I hear you and agree. I'm like a broken record in respect of the manager but it does come from a good place honestly. My rants are born out of frustration because i honestly think this squad of players can achieve anything this season and it really annoys me when i see us retreat and hand the initiative to our opponents especially away from home. That's how i perceive it anyway. If we pull up short i want us to do it having emptied the tank in an attempt to win the game and been beaten by a better team. I've seen too many games that have left me with a massive feeling of frustration because they've been games we really should have won. Anyway, as you rightly suggest, let's set qualms aside and get behind the manager and the team for the remainder of the season and see where we end up. I want us to secure a play off place even if we don't win them, that would still give us a big psychological boost going into next season and help with season card sales. [Post edited 4 Apr 19:26]

No convincing of your heart being in the right place needed, at least from me, and that's why it really is annoying - not just when we underperform due to a lack of belief that we can do better - but when others take exception to it The psychology of sport isn't any different from life, and nothing but doing our damnedest is good enough, even if it is for others Tomorrow is about our survival, but also our future. As you say, if we don't come out on top the team will still be forgiven and applauded if they've done their damnedest too

I don’t think anyone who knows you or even those who don’t and read the “rants” would ever doubt the reasoning behind what’s said. It makes perfect sense because we have been a frustrating side this season. Like most football clubs, we can swing from brilliant to bad with a bit of boring thrown in. As a Dale fan we’ve seen plenty of all of those over the years, even if there’s been maybe not enough brilliant to balance out the rest! Despite the misgivings plenty, including myself, have over how well this current squad has been built and utilised over the current campaign, we clearly have a group of players and staff who are fully committed to doing their best for the club and its fans.
