I hope this is wrong but I'm not fuelled with optimism We need to sharpen up else this will be a cut throat time for us. Total rehaul needed on Saturday.

Sheff Utd vs QPR match thread on 23:13 - Nov 8 by rbee | You are right but we are in pis rank form at the moment, the QPR of 5/6 weeks ago would have hoovered up 3 points today. It did something for us we got a point. Things would have been far worse if we had headed off to the international break on the back of a another defeat and a gutless performance. Queens Pragmatic Rangers. |
Agreed, and if you were the manager/head coach of a notoriously impatient club like QPR, you'd be loathe to give the club's board a two week international break to ruminate on four successive defeats... I'm not saying it's going well, mind....
| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

Too busy enjoying the peace and quiet of the Norfolk coast. I can understand a lot of people’s frustration on here especially Clive’s . I get to five or six away games a season unlike the masses that follow us week in week out away from home. If anyone is qualified to talk about how we’re playing it’s them. Of the highlights I did see , it looked like we tightened up defensively. Hamer a huge Improvement on Nardi , Field plays at full back for a second time and we keep a clean sheet . Dunne looking better at centre half . We look a team short on confidence and I think that’s why Julien played it safe yesterday. We’ve played three parachute payment teams on the bounce and got burned twice so I can understand the caution. We do need a result soon though.

| Queens Park Razors hopefully taking the edge off. Sheff Utd vs QPR match thread on 12:29 - Nov 9 by derbyhoop | Prior to this season, Walsh had played 26 senior games. Not as many as Cooper, I admit, but how much would he improve with another 20 games in L1? |
If you look apart from five games for QPR this season and one previously for Gillingham. Walsh's appearances have been for Hampton and Richmond, Accrington Stanley and Maidenhead town, so stand by prior to this season, he has had zero competitive professional football experience, compared to two full seasons in league one for Cooper. Accrington are a league club. Walsh made 9 appearances for them and it seemed to go well. He's got a way to go, but I repeat, would he be that much better for 20 apps in L1? Also the manager saw him in training day in day out and believed he was worth the risk.

League 2 level. Nine games. As said basically zero "competitive level professional football" !!

Walsh played well up at Sunderland last season. He did look ready from that one viewing, and purposefully forgetting the Leicester cup game. Hamer looked good up at Coventry on Saturday. But it's one game.....I'm worried, tbh.

The manager did not make the call. Walsh was informed he was number one before pre-season commenced and Stephan had seen him in training.
