| BBC story about fake kits on 15:16 - Nov 27 with 2027 views | nick_hammersmith | Isn't the real story why it costs £135 to get a full Liverpool kit for your kid (if they wanted one)? As demonstrated with the fakes, this stuff is all made for pennies in sweat shops, why is it so dear? Because the manufactures know they have a captive market! They deserve to be ripped off. I only wish there was a way to buy snide Chinese electricity and gas | | | |

| BBC story about fake kits on 15:25 - Nov 27 with 1948 views | ted_hendrix | I thought most of the dreadful BBC news was about Liverpool FC and how somebody with the extremely funny name of Mr Sloth, sorry Mr Slot had caused immense amounts of depression and wheelie bin thefts on Merseyside. You'll never walk alone apparently. I do like a pan of scouse now and then.................................. | |

Why stop at football kits? An iPhone costs around $20 to make. Apple and many other sellers of electrical/IT devices make them in places like, Foxcomm factories in China, where a few years ago, workers were committing suicide because of pressures they were under to hit targets. And how much do mobiles retail for? If the poor worker is being exploited, so is the person at the end of the chain asked to pay such extortionate prices. As I always say: don't buy them!! Worked in the field of human/worker rights and can only say that the whole overly-consumerist economic model is fcked!

Exactly. I mean I can't say for certain but I'm pretty sure they all come out the same factories, and these days you can barely tell the difference. I mean it's a no brainer especially for kids kits when they grow out of them so quickly. Spend £60+ or £15?

Difficult to understand why ?? Everytime she breaks up with a man, she gets a magician to make them bigger. If ever an advert was to be made about the dangers of reality tv stardom, here you are !!! The world truly has gone mad !!!

A stupid question Wembley, given that most societies around the world have made ownership of one a necessity! The better question I would suggest: How often do you change your phone? Only when the repugnancy of 'planned obsolesence' necessitates. Current model: 5 years old, after an end of range iPhone became unusable.
