| rip on 17:44 - Jan 7 with 3881 views | NorthantsHoop | Good player was Martin Chivers, tall and commanding striker. Fond memories of him playing for Spurs on their featured ITV Big Match games in the 1970s. | | | |

| rip on 19:11 - Jan 7 with 3559 views | MrSheen | He had a crazy goalscoring record and a great partner in Alan Gilzean. Chivers had the look of a snooty young officer and Gilzean his mad Scottish batman, putting his nut on anything. | | | |
| rip on 19:18 - Jan 7 with 3528 views | BrianMcCarthy | I'd hope that the funeral cortege will arrive a split-second late, with style, and in a world of space for the tap-in. A fine, fine footballer. Ar dheis Dé. | |

RIP. One of those names that was high profile back in the seventies. Pretty certain he played in the England team knocked out by Poland in 1973 where Brian Clough called their keeper a clown . My old man used to call Gilzean “ Baldy locks and the three hairs” . Another fine player though . | | | |
