The ref was very out of his depth in a game played at pre-season friendly pace. No idea how he got 6 yellows out of that especially as Pring, who could have had a couple, didn't even get one.

Well that was utter pony! The sequence where City's two CBs passed the ball between them for about 8 minutes in the first half summed it up. Sh it game, shit ref, and sat next to a complete oddbod who kept telling me that games at LR are always boring and cagey because the pitch is so small. It's not even my club and I sat through that with a hangover. Still £42 for my ticket was a bargain. |

It is one of the smallest pitches in the EFL...but there are smaller. Most Prem and Champ pitches are a good couple of yards longer and wider. I agree though, that the proximity of the stands to the pitch...does make it smaller than it seems. Never seemed small to me, as I was mostly looking at it from behind the goal.
