So, it is very possible, we could finish anywhere between 9th and 17th.
So a huge difference in terms of position, with only three games remaiming.
The next two home games should both be very winnable and with Madsen, Chair and Burrell all available again, i sincerely hope we play all three games like it really matters.
Speaking for myself, even if the points difference is minimal this season, a season finishing 9th as opposed to a season finishing 17th is huge.

Completely agree.
Hayden’s legs have gone to me. He was miles off it.
We lack gnarly, experienced pros who are physical and organise their younger team mates. Cook had a poor game, but when he went off it became a shambles organisationally. No Field. No Dunne. Chair feeling his way back to it off the bench.
This squad is crying out for some physical elder statesmen with know how. |
Thing is, the Swans didn't really have any gnarly hairy boll*cks in their team (Ben Cabanga excepted) and still looked the part. Quick movement on and off the ball, controlled the bloody thing unlike us, looked organised and threatening.
I still don't think we have an identity as a team. People called for 2 up front at home and Jules obliged yet we basically surrender the midfield and possession to every opponent. We looked much better when Madsen and Chair came on but it was a pretty low bar. I want Morgan to succeed but my god he gave the ball away so many times tonight and was just brushed off the ball. As for Hayden, his legs have gone sadly. Priority for me is two solid central midfielders next season who can hit the ground running in the Championship. Can't see Field coming back and I think Varane will be sold on for no profit. |  | | |

Of course it wasn't whatever supporters & posters think. It is a first team fixture(s) and we play youngsters & more youngsters - what good do you actually think the experience will do them?
Not only that the Team put out today was OK(ish) but the way the players were told to play was madness......Madsen nearly playing CF but certainly our most advanced Midfielder - why would the Manager do that when his 'excellent' work been playing 20 yards deeper? There is more as well, continually playing Vale & Bennie, both so very inconsistent and nowhere near good enough to play so often.

Totally agree. It achieves very little to throw kids into these games. It's disrespectful to the fans. There are 46 games to win and if you drop off like this you never improve. There is very little real ambition and that was very evident in today's team selection. |  |

If you mean Paul Smyth, yes I would have started him too. Tylon Smith was fine as a sub.
However, I was referring to the lone striker role. As Kone, BurrelI and Obikwu were injured and I don't know but assume Kolli has fitness or other issues, I think Bennie was the best or only option.
