Can easily see Bradford and PNE swapping divisions at the end of this season.

Perhaps an opportunity. He’s had half an hour and been an unused sub twice in the league games.

Hmmm well that would be a bit of a reality check for young Kieran...

To be fair they’ve won three league games in a row 1-0 so probably right to not change a settled side and maybe not the right circumstances to take a chance on a young loanee. As long treks go I wouldn’t mind them coming up at all. Not played there for a long time, proper ground, curry after.

From the bbc website - "A Football Association (FA) independent regulatory commission handed the German a six-week ban from all football, but suspended it until the end of next season. Eckert has also been given a £28,000 fine and reprimand but avoided a lengthy ban that could have cost him his job. The FA had proposed a three-month ban, but the commission gave credit to Eckert for what they called 'considerable mitigation in this matter, most particularly around the genuine contrition'. The FA is yet to confirm whether it will appeal." The article also says "The most recent precedent for this case came at the 2024 Olympics women's tournament, when Fifa banned Bev Priestman - Canada's head coach - from all football for a year after opponents New Zealand were spied on." Seems a bit of a difference between a year and 6 weeks suspended. The comment about 'genuine contrition' - this was only after he and the club had been caught. If they had been the ones that brought it to everyone's attention, then maybe. Also, does anyone really believe they only did this 3 times and didn't win any of those games??

There's been absolutely zero contrition from Southampton through the whole episode.

I don't think the club has ever denied knowing what he was doing. If he had been at it without the club's knowledge they would surely have had to have sacked him by now. Instead they've had his back all the way.
