Best result for both parties - very much a Parejo signing who will go on to bigger things but 100% he’s at the wrong club to be developed and we get a nice little profit out of him.

Just watched Keir Starmer’s resignation speech, which, predictably, was disrupted by music from outside the gates of Downing Street (a pointless, pathetic and tedious stunt which I’m not condoning, btw).

Nevertheless, I couldn’t help noticing that it was Ode To Joy, which Ludwig van Beethoven famously used in the last movement of his 9th Symphony (thanks, Wiki) and has since been adopted by the European Union.

It then occurred to me that ‘joy’, rather conveniently, rhymes with ‘boy’.

This, in turn, then led me to the conclusion that Ode To Joy could, with a simple tweak, be re-imagined as Ode To …. Boy.

Genius, eh?
