Much debate, many differing views. I, 100%, believe that we lost against a decent Boro side because of team selection or team selection did not help us one bit. I note that may not be many other views however........

This exactly. ‘Flogging’ seems to be our new buzz word. While I disagree with Gazza’s assertions that we should play our best players all the time while they are available, some players are more than capable of playing 2 games a week as they are their physical peak and no injury history. Dunne and Edward’s fall into this category, as does Smyth and (since he joined us) Vale. Sadly that’s about it, which is why players like Field are so important. Technically not always top drawer, but always available.

No major issues (apart from Vale) with the selection, just very surprised that he selected Adamson ahead of Cirkin &, perhaps, an injured Mbengue.
