I’ve just had a bit of a nose on a couple of their boards. They seem rather confident.
Come on my team!
Our display Saturday should give them a bit of a jolt but they are flying and scoring for fun so they are going to be cocky . Would take a draw right now

CLEAR AWAY ANY MESS? I might as well stay at home.
Also, pour your own pints and rinse them afterwards. And sweep up. Also, can you delegate two people to lock-up when you leave. And then obviously someone will need to take over the management of the bar until the next home game, and then up to you how you want to hand it all over from there. Cheers.
Bare bones.

On the plus side, Carling AND Fosters on tap

I’ve always been massively underwhelmed by Southampton as a city, but we found some good spots on our last visit. There’s a number of decent pubs/places to eat around Carlton Place. I think they all open at 12, but if you get there early, there’s the London Road Brewhouse and a Wetherspoons just around the corner, and both are open at 11am. A couple of minutes away are some more interesting spots: Overdraft is good for craft beers/cider and Mexican food, and Raven & Bine, The Cricketers, The Dirty Barrel, and Bottle and Stoat looked to be decent places for a pint. Piecaramba! is supposed to be a good shout for pie and mash.
0.8 miles from the station and 1.1 miles to the ground.
Fulham FC: It's the taking part that counts

That reminds me of a piece in the News Quiz from the second Gulf War. The Army had issued a briefing about Basra, describing it as a port city, similar to Southampton. A squaddie complained, “It’s a dirty, smelly dump, the whores are ugly and everyone’s trying to kill us. It’s much more like Portsmouth.”

I guess they should be at home with the team they have and in good form but I’ve always found them (in limited experience of knowing real life Southampton fans admittedly) to be a bit of a deluded bunch for a club that has never really done anything. Worse fan bases for that (Birmingham).
The Chapel is ok. Better in the city for those going by train. Pleasant enough place.

Is there a designated away pub? When I've been before I've got there later and gone straight to the ground, but train's getting in at 11.43 this time. From looking online it seems quite a few are mixed
