They bought him but muffed up the paperwork so he missed half the season. £5m if I recall correctly.

Same reason we just missed out on automatic promotion: not enough points!

Good thing is, we get another chance to remedy that in six weeks and I fully expect us to be plying our trade in the Premiership from August 2021.

I lost my job at the end of March due to Covid-19, so it’ll be tap waters all round if we go through.

Quite weird in that I obviously want Fulham to win every game, but the thought of missing a possible game at Wembley is horrible.

I could be wrong, but given our poor record against Brentford and our respective strengths/weaknesses, I suspect Switchingcode thinks we’d be an easier opponent than Cardiff if they get through.

Thought we we’re very decent in the second half. Surprised how attacking we were.
