I like that we pick up youngsters like this that have versatile skills and consider them worthy of time and effort to see if they have 'it'. This lad is a big unit and seems to be able to play up top and wide on both sides.
Best of luck to Sean Adarkwa. however a friend of mine who works at West Ham is surprised we have signed him and messaged me to say that he is 'A Ryman League player'. I hope he can develop in our U23s.

Makes sense to do it though. Developed strikers cost a lot of money, the most difficult and expensive position to recruit for and you ideally need a minimum of four in your first team squad. If we can develop our own, we save a load of money and if we then sell them on we can make a profit too.

I think we're playing the numbers game with strikers. Even relatively poor ones seem to cost money so we might as well try and develop our own.
