Most of my drinking is done in quiet back street pubs these days, either during the day or in midweek. I was out in Central Bristol on a Friday night recently, and hated it. Too busy, too many people off their faces...I am definitely middle-aged.
Same with the Euro's - saw footage of the box parks, packed pubs etc and just thought fu ck that! I was happy sat on my sofa with my wife and son. |  |

In the supermarket, at the checkout, had a wallet full of change I wanted to get rid of. Didn't bring my glasses so was having problems telling difference between coins (euros). Another vote for Pinotage. It's a blend of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, making it more full-bodied than a traditional Pinot. Made in South Africa a lot and agree that Stellenbosch should be on everyone's bucket list - heavenly. [Post edited 4 Aug 2021 9:43]

My daughter and I changed our regular chippy from the one by the Springbok to a cheaper one elsewhere in the area before matches a couple of seasons ago,mainly due to the inflated prices there.
Two home games on the trot she found a black hair in her chips.I tried to tell her it was their way of showing her affection,but she wasn’t impressed.Now we have to get a meal deal sandwich from Tesco.
