Forza Italia on 19:02 - Mar 19 with 2572 views | dmm | It was wonderful to see them so elated after getting their first six nations win in seven years. I've wonderful Italian family relations so it means something to me too.

Forza Italia on 21:55 - Mar 19 with 2448 views | MedwayR | The French team is special but England put in a good shift, hopefully it'll spurs us onto some positive changes. Never seen a ref get in the way so much though and I don't understand why when we got the ball over the line but held up the ball gets kicked back to our half, what's that about???

I'm not 100% but if you get over the line but don't ground it, the defending side get a drop out from under the posts.

Yeah I got that bit but why, surely that discourages attacking play, doesn’t seem right that you’ve done the hard work to as good as get a try then the ball gets punted into your half. Massively favours the defending team.

Another new rule change brought in over the last year or two.It does seem a strange rule that you have to give back the ball because it wasn’t grounded.Didn’t it used to be a 5m scrum?

I think it did, with the attacking side getting the put in. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Which seemed more logical than losing the ball from a strong scoring position.

Yes it was a 5m attacking scrum. Not sure why they changed this.
Forza Italia on 08:04 - Mar 20 with 2148 views | TGRRRSSS | An amazing win for Italy, however not sure whats happening to Wales just at the moment, they've really fallen apart frankly since Gatland left, the Pivac results have been pretty porr on the whole and losing at home to Italy yesterday surely is the final straw, I just don't get why they keep picking Alun Wyn jones, it really is time for him to go now, amazing what he's managed to do but frankly they need to look to the future and the next 18 months or the next world cup could be embarrassing for them.
Forza Italia on 08:05 - Mar 20 with 2146 views | TGRRRSSS | Forgot to add of course Wales lost Shaun Edwards who's now backs defence coach with France and you can see how much he'[s improved them maybe the true key man for the change in France since 2019 World Cup.

I thought the ref gave france a fair bit, the first scrum was basically an england penalty as the french guy couldnt support his own weight but he penalises us. Set the tone for the whole game

Superb. I ever understand why the give the MOTM 3 minutes before the end of a game. It's like giving the gold medal to an athlete who can be over taken in the last few strides a race. This win was the moment of the tournament. Much as I love Irelands performances . This Italian win was pure gold.

Forza Italia on 11:27 - Mar 20 with 1980 views | welwynranger | Not so far back. But it did remind me a bit of Gareth Edwards for the Barbarians back in the 80s, that fantastic side step to leave the fella diving into the empty space fabulous

Forza Italia on 21:07 - Mar 20 with 1806 views | BlackCrowe | Pivac will surely be gone, which opens it up for Edwards to take it on and he'll most likely be great. Was half hoping England would get him after the WC next year, when Jones leaves. He's a class act and a top manager in the making.

I've just been reading up on this and the new law is supposed to reward good defensive play and speed up the game. The goal line drop out must be taken without delay, travel at least 5m (so not able to tap and run) and cannot go out on the full.
