Maybe not a top 6 premiership side but an attitude that was not in line with our purchasing power. All this i have written before. And then Les which again i think is true. On the face of it the article is fairly reasonable. He may well have picked up the top 6 Premiership bit from various people on social media who seem to have the opinion that many of us think we are a big club. Of course that is nonsense but it reflects what fans of other clubs seem to think of our support base.
I believe they are mistaking our complaining about the state of our club as griping about not being in a position to challenge at the top of the Premiership. I assume this top 6 piffle stems from the four year plan and Briatore talking about us being in the Champions League. He was deluded but that doesn't make us fans complicit in that. |  | | |

Makes for a good camaraderie, whenever you first meet a fellow fan, I notice it’s that that immediately pulls us together, we can reminisce better than any teams supporters. But it does result in a clamour for the same pedigree and what has become a diminishing pedigree at that. |  | | |

When reading anything by Rod Liddle it's important to remember:
- He accepted a police fine for beating his 20-week pregnant girlfriend up (who he'd left his wife for *while on honeymoon*)
- He regularly posted unbelievably racist and anti-Semitic posts on the Millwall forum under a laughable geezer alias which he at first denied until it was proven and he then claimed it was some sort of experiment. He was caught out with some revolting joke about gas chambers for Jews. (there's a thread here detailing his racism:
- He looks like something you might contact the GP about if you saw it in the toilet bowl
