I have but only the easy ones!
I found them quite addictive.
I’m into Connections and Wordle now (think we had a thread on Wordle a while back).

How about a mixture of football and Sudoku?

I'm hopeless at 'em.
My indulgence is the cryptic crossword.
There's an old joke - I get up in the morning, have a shave and do the Times crossword.
Then I have another shave.

Me neither, never got near completing even a side of a cube.

Sudokus however, love 'em, can't pass one without getting stuck in.

Like wordle I was into them for a while but no longer bother. Sudoku was something to do when on the train to/from work.

I can do them, even the super-fiendish but although it's a good exercise for the brain, I'm not sure why as I don't learn anything from it and would rather do a good quiz or cryptic crossword. The Times Quick Cryptic is fairly easy and fun, but I often struggle to get going with the main Times Crossword. My favourite is the Private Eye Cryptic Crossword.

She's on to something, the medical world seems to think the daily crossword people are least represented in the befuddled elderly.

There is something to it, not just crosswords but brain activity in general. Use it or lose it. My mum is always doing puzzles for this reason.

I used to do Sudoku years ago and then kakuro (which I prefer), then cryptic crosswords. Nowadays I'm more into chess and chess puzzles. I like puzzles, my brain seems to need them. I'm also a fiendishly good scrabble player :)

My nine year old got obsessed with them and can now solve them in about 20 seconds. All in the algorithms apparently.

I'm a pub quiz clever-dick, but I just can't do cryptic crosswords. Somehow I can locate any old junk fact instantly if it's in the memory bank, but I can't think round corners.

Interesting. I'm like Sudoku and Kakuru but any cryptic crossword is beyond me.

About four years ago I decided to learn to solve that shit. Only took an evening to get it down.

I was inspired to after seeing this video.

Could only manage one side of a Rubik's cube and have never completed a crossword.

Sudoku is my go to toilet pastime, got bored with the 9 x 9 and now only do 12 x 12 which can lead to some dead legs if I get too involved.

Never heard of Kakuro...(quick google) oh dear, that looks tempting.

Was into Wordle last year, dropped it for a while but the family WhatsApp group have resurrected it. Got it in 2 the other day.

The cube's actually not that difficult to solve. But it's REALLY HARD to solve quickly.

I can do it in a minute which is basically the football equivalent of being good enough to play for some sort of non-league side.

Whereas the record is just over three seconds which is some sort of superhuman shit.

But does she think she's only doing one for the first time that day, each time she does one?

It might be too late mate.

I saw a video where someone is juggling 3 and completing them as he's doing it, all in a ridiculous amount of time...
