Just watched the interview, he says he's very exciting to be here. He is very exciting. Exactly like my french girlie says when she speaks English. Welcome Paul.
When you reach the place beyond thoughts, the only thing you'll find is love and the only purpose of life becomes to ease the suffering of others.

'It was an easy choice for me blah blah (or the French equivalent of blah blah)'
Do any incoming players ever say: 'To be honest, they had to really twist my arm to get me here. The money's not great, the training ground looks ropey, and the weather's a bit shit. I'll do what I can, but I'll be telling my agent to keep his ears open a la Michael Beale'?
(On which subject, I suppose Joey Barton was at least honest after the event, in telling us he only came to us for the money - like most of that shitty 'class' of 2012/13.)
On a less cynical note, I love Marti's concept of the 'attack-minded keeper' who's 'aggressive in his positioning'. which was a new one on me. Just as long as it doesn't leave him vulnerable to getting lobbed from 40 yards a la Ronaldinho/Seaman.
I see his wikipedia has been updated already - who does that? Very impressive.
Looked like he had a fair bit of pedigree and promise about him by the age of 20, made his way up through the national team, then got loaned around a bit at club level. Found his feet in his mid twenties with L'Orient, sold to Gent with a year left on a 4 year deal and, as he says himself, has been playing his best football in the last 4 years. So all very positive.

I watched a highlights package of him yesterday. Seemed decent enough the only downside was he punched a couple of crosses that he probably could have caught.

A sweeper keeper. Be interesting now to see if MC continues with Dunne at RB considering he was playing due to Begovic's inability to pass out. Looks like it's going to be much more high press, high back line and less long balls.
