Big Books 21:36 - Jan 21 with 544 viewsqprxtc

Massive, humongous, more than a handful, bursting out at the seams, ginormous, titanic books.

Just bought a 1,000 page book about The Byrds by Johnny Rogan. It’s a wrist strainer.

I’ll get stuck into it and give it a bit of a wobble.

Next stop the mighty mounds of The Bible.

In my youth I read the whole of Lord Of The Rings in 2 weeks. On the tube and break times at work.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the Earth all one's lifetime." (Mark Twain) Find me on twitter @derbyhoop and now on Bluesky

I have a book that's a 'wrist strainer'. Lots of pictures in it.

Smells like a trout farm in here
