Big fuss by Rosenoir who is rapidly becoming a proper scummer.
I think the referee should pick up the ball and hold onto it until they are ready to actually start the match. Throw a few cards around if necessary.
I like this suggestion in one of the replies:
It would be interesting if their opposition next week decide to make a huddle around Chelsea’s huddle. As is their right
Then the two huddles could push against each other and we can call it rugby.

FWIW I think the referee was justified in his actions. It was Newcastle's kick off!
Watching MOTD last night it seemed as if their player kicked the foot of the opponent and no penalty was the correct call.
Rosenoir seems to be calling the referee integrity into question. Wrong on all counts. | | | |
