Missing that early sitter at the back post was criminal and then that slice that flukily found its way to Wells shows he's nowhere near ready for the Prem. With the transfer window looming and some Prem teams sniffing about, it's best to be transparent and it's only fair we point out these errors in his game. He needs a couple more years in the Championship to get that lazy streak out of his system so if you are a Prem team looking for someone oven ready to step up, probably best to look elsewhere. Sorry guys, I know you like him but I think it's important this message gets out there....quick.

Too many of his goals and assists are from penalties/set-pieces, not enough from open play. Definitely not prem quality, needs at least another 18months developing here. |  |

Look, in between the lazy arsed running about he does do the odd good pass but you can't ignore that miss at the back post and the slice to Wells. With the Jan window opening I think it's important we concentrate on these aspects of his game. He's just not Prem standard so stop bigging him up, he's a Championship player who needs a couple more seasons with us before even thinking about stepping up. Got it?

He's slowly getting up to speed with Championship football, but right now he probably costs us a couple of goals either end through poor finishing and failing to track back. | | | |
