I still can't quite get my head around why Wells wasn't booked for 4 pretty blantant fouls, the last of which looked a red in real time
For me there were two reasons why lost the game. Similar to Brentford a complete inability to play the conditions. Time after time trying to float passes from our box out wide into a strong wind. Rather than a simple pass Hall tried another floater to Eze which they intercepted and scored from. really daft.
Also I thought Bristol City showed areal desire to defend their goal and threw everything at stopping us, they blocked Eze out of the game well and even at the end their number 9 was charging back to deny us an equaliser with a brilliant header. I thought we deserved a point from the the game but that kind of desire to not concede is something we don't seem to have and haven't all season.
I don't want to join in with the can we still go down nonsense that appears here this time every year (Yes we can but we probably won't) but this is a big month for us with 7 games in Feb and we need to get a few wins in here to not only keep us away from trouble but keep the fans engaged in whats happening |  | | |

I has Masterson as Rangers' best player, and I also thought we played well from half-time until the substitution of Amos. That change killed our momentum until Clark's introduction, I felt. |  |

It was quite incredible how quickly they got 7-8 men back whenever we got the ball in their half. Admittedly assisted by our insistence on slow build up play until Clarke came on, but still very disciplined performance from BC. |  | | |

Its all opinions isn't it - usually agree with most of what Clive and Dave say but for what its worth I thought

Here I agree with Clive - not Dave - good to see no cards, much better than the 5 or so Mr Stroud would have found in the game and didn't see anything like a red card foul from anyone!
5 minutes added did seem about right but agree about the lack of advantage, but only happened once I thought
Enjoyed the game and thought we did OK most of 2nd half, it was a bit more than last 10 for me
Still it WAS entertaining and sure we can come up with the 3 wins needed, although with 3 of the next 4 away can understand some being a bit fearful. | | | |

OK, but then Wallace should also have definitely been booked as he also committed at least 3 fouls.
Like Clive, where none of the tackles were really nasty or cynical and given the temperature of the game I much prefer this style of game management than the 'easy' card way.
As for Dave's point - yes it IS annoying if other refs don't do the same, but like I said about another game - that's like expecting Amos to play like DeBruyne every week - different players, different refs. | | | |
