Thought he almost back to his best tonight
Great finish to start things rolling but he won some great duals and a couple of fantastic sliding tackles
Him and Barbet looking good.
That’s more than a word... apologies I’m not being descriptively correct with my diction and nouns etc this evening
I’ve given Hall a bit lately so only right balance is maintained and credit where it’s hugely due.

To add some balance, I actually thought he was pretty ropey second half (that long ball allowed to bounce through for Waghorn?!) and that Barbet, who I criticised earlier in the season, was the far better centre half of the two.
Given Hall’s supposed wage (almost BFG-esque), and his contract up this summer, i’d Let him go and back we’ll find two better or equal centre halves for the same money. |  | | |

Agree. Goal aside, Barbet was the better defender tonight, making some timely interceptions and spraying some nice passes around. Has returned from injury rejuvenated and now appears less prone to making rash challenges in the box. Long may it continue. Still yet to be convinced by Barbet the free-kick taker, though. Was going to maybe start a thread on Hall's contract situation a few weeks ago but people starting going OTT over him and I didn't fancy a pile-on.
Given how the club have been handling things in general it does seem like what you say the is way it's going. Or perhaps both sides have agreed to wait and see depending on injuries/interest? Warbs hasn't come across as particularly down on him.
