Scored one and worked hard to keep the ball in play for the equaliser. Not a bad first show.

A lot less concerned about the cover up front now

We have a new problem, who to start? Charlie's already proved that as a late sub he's very dangerous around the box and Andre looks more physically fit and quicker.

Nice problem to have for a change.

Its almost as if Warball's knew more about him more than we did when he brought him in.

Never knowingly understood

Why are we not getting more excited about Gray. Scored with his first touch didn't he?

He looked really good. Very determined from the off. Notice he didn't even celebrate his first goal in ages, it was all about the team and trying to get the next one. Impressed!

I think he may just be that final piece of the jigsaw for us. He is quality and really wants to show what he can do for a team that plays in a manner that will really suit him. I think the service from Uncs, Willock and Chair will absolutely suit him to a tee.

Given how we tend to play and the way we tend to wear teams out (which I suspect is one of the reasons we score so many goals quite late on) having an option like Gray from the bench is a fantastic option for us. Imagine what is must look like to see he and Uncs coming on after 60-70 minutes of high intensity, physical, hi press war-balls, only to see premiership quality speedsters like Gray being brought on to really stretch you.

Never knowingly understood

I'd love to see us in the 5-1-2-2 we've seen before, with JoJo holding alone, behind Chair & Willock, and Dykes + 1. Very attacking, but we saw how we blew teams away with it at the back end of last season. Allows for so much rotation in the forward positions and stops the forward getting isolated.

I initially thought it was Gray that kept the ball in and crossed it for Barbet but it was actually Willock.

I thought exactly the same and I was in Row B. Gray had shown great bursts of speed so I assumed it was him but that was brilliant how Willock kept that in. Looked out of play as some of the defenders appeared but is still in as shown in replays.

I thought it was Gray too, on the Officiak's stream.

I thought he had a 'no nonsense' look about him.

I think this means Willock has bulked up a bit then, can't wait to see him have another go at muscling Ade Akinfenwa of the ball. Poor lad just bounced off him last time

Here's hoping Gray's had a square meal today.
