I was almost level with it in SA road stand, and thought it was about a yard offside at the time, however I looked at it again this morning, stopped at the freeze frame of the exact time the ball was played and I can't see anything in it.
Just before the ball is played the Millwall player takes a step back whilst looking all along the line to make sure he was in line with the wandering Paal. As others have said you would need Var to split it I think, and I'm not blaming the linesman.
The blame lays squarely on Paal, not only did he play the hospital pass that got us into trouble, but he ends up just wandering in behind both Dunne and Dickie playing the Millwall player onside... It was a real shame because up until that point he was having an excellent game. | | | |

Mentioned this on another thread, Watmore was definitely onside from the footage available, played onside by Paal. Watmore showed intelligence to get himself back onside from an offside position and then stay level.
Thought he looked offside at the time, which was probably fuelled by desperation for some intervention from somewhere, someone, anyone, please! |  | | |

Critchley points correctly to the mentality of a lot of these players, they just don’t seem to get it.
The culture of this club is far too laid back, I know I bang on about it but that clown at academy level who stated ‘winning is not important at this stage’ or something along those lines tells me everything what’s wrong about this club. | | | |

Of course winning is nit important at that stage, it means that the coaches have a free ride. Winning is everything when you are young and especially if you are playing sport. | |

Miles or inches, it was close enough to be given onside.

took warbs a while to realise we had to play in a 3 with these players, and i think beale would have got that in time, but luckily for him he brought in bologan after 4-5 games. without him in the team we sadly have to play a 3 | | | |
