I see that Morecambe are stating that we’ve recalled Dixon Bonner from his loan there? I wonder why that is? It’s not as if they’d be worried about the amount of game time he’s getting.

EDB regression as a footballer baffles me, genuinely thought he looked good when he played under Marti, athletic, confident on the ball likes to move the ball forward, now can’t even get a game in national league for a struggling team. How does it go so wrong? He didn’t come across as a troubled soul and no reports of him training badly. Guessing it will remain a mystery, even Taylor Richard’s is playing at a higher level! | |

He’s been begging to be released for ages now and ended up at Våsterås and Morecambe as he had to sort out his own loans outside the usual transfer windows as the club was ignoring him.
I expect/hope for his sake that he’s got something else lined up and we have taken him back to finally let him go. | | | |

Would suggest it’s likely we’ve lined up a permanent transfer out? Read somewhere about not being allowed to play for more than two clubs in one season but I assume that’s just league games as he only played in the Plymouth cup debacle for us. |  | | |

I saw this also.
He is another that i personally also felt he had skill levels to at least be league one level and at one stage i did think he could be a tidy player and even here for us in the championship.
The issues i felt he lacked were about drifting out of games and being a little lightweight in his overall pitch presence and play.
Am guessing if we cant sell him somewhere, we will try to loan him out somewhere, but seems like that may be difficult. |  |

We probably hoped the loan would go better and that they would either sign him or extend the loan. I don't think he can play for anyone else this season.
I'm unsure of when his registration with the Swedish club ended. If it was after 1st July, then he has already been registered with three clubs in the FIFA specified period. If it ended earlier he may be eligible for a club with an overlapping season. | | | |
