| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? 22:01 - Dec 30 with 1672 views | numptydumpty | Who thinks we will win both. I seriously doubt we will. I think we will win one and lose one. But we have to play our best available team in both. No resting first choice players here please Julien ?? Probably was more confident at home to Leicester before the game. Its called Queens Park Rangers Syndrome. | |

| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 22:12 - Dec 30 with 1580 views | ted_hendrix | I have the utmost respect for both Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday, both currently Championship clubs, many Years ago I learnt the hard way never to expect us to beat any club who were In the same division as us, no club were ever relegated In December or January. These aren't just two tough games they are all tough games. | |

Well if we don’t then tossing away last night’s game becomes as pointless as Blackpool (McClaren was it?) in the League cup.
| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 22:36 - Dec 30 with 1423 views | Lblock | Big test for the current buzzword for me:- STANDARDS Seeing already the “it’s what we do mantra” being trotted out. Not good enough to accept that, not good enough by far. 100% needed and go into both with the must win attitude | |

We are one thing and that ia consistently inconsistent. Always tend to lose these ones but lets see. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 08:03 - Dec 31 with 1015 views | BlackAndGoldRanger | Yeah I think we win both. The tactics seem to work at home. Burrell back in the goals. Both will be frustrating but once we get that goal they wont come back. Shef Weds especially will be a tight game but a later goal in the 2nd half will eventually break their resistance. Then we play the same "home" style team in the cup and get comfortably beaten by West ham. JS hasn't quite figured out how to change it away from LR. | | | |
| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 08:25 - Dec 31 with 960 views | stevec | Think in an earlier thread I voted 4 points over the 4 holiday games, I’ll stick to that, so win one lose one. Will be interesting to see how Round 2 goes, can’t help worrying that oppositions will have sussed the glaring weakness in trying to win without possession. | | | |

| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 08:42 - Dec 31 with 902 views | Loyalitat | Both tough games. I'm looking forward to the Norwich game as they, like us, signed a forward from league one in J Makama who has successfully stepped up to this level and has scored 8 goals. He's a unit and will be a handful. As much as Sargent is deemed to be having a "poor" season, he's still scored 7 and provided 3 assists. Expecting a few goals to be scored by both sides in this game. 3 points [Post edited 31 Dec 2025 8:55]

100%. I’m a Varane fan (normally) but Hayden needs his chance there. Or Field.
| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 18:05 - Dec 31 with 347 views | themodfather | watching the Rs for many years 2 teams that screw us over at loftus road are owls and canaries , they give us the bird a lot! also what QPR turns up? the whimpering can't be bothered or the promotion chasing exciting free flowing one?? | | | |
| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 20:24 - Dec 31 with 264 views | ManinBlack | As Vinnie Jones used to preach, nail the main ball player in the opposition the first time he gets the ball. Then he won't show for the ball and goes missing. We don't do that which is why Bannon runs the show everytime we meet Wednesday as we stand off him. If it helps for those who like to bet on outcomes, we have one of the last 8 against Wednesday and one of the last 12 against Norwich so don't get your hopes up. But why stop there? We have won one of the last 7 against Coventry, one of the last 5 against Middlesbrough, one of the last 6 against Millwall, one of the last 5 against Watford, two wins in the last 9 against Leicester, 5 defeats on the trot to Southampton, one win in the last 8 against West Brom and two wins in the last 11 against Sheffield United. Even looking at our last 10 meetings with Charlton we only have the three wins. This bad trend is now starting with Portsmouth since they came up with no wins in three meetings. It is no great surprise we keep finishing in the bottom half of the table if we struggle to beat half the teams in the league. | | | |
| Two home games against the bottom two - Six points ??? on 20:28 - Dec 31 with 260 views | OakR | I voted 5 points over the 4 games, which would mean a draw and a win in these two. Games never pan out the way you think - if we get 6 points from both I'll be delighted of course. Should we aim for 6 - yes, should we expect it? I'm not putting any money on it. | |
