Not significantly. The time zone differentials across the country remain the same. The biggest difference will be with the US who, I assume, will be be moving their clocks back this Fall. | | | |

Really dont get the point any more. we dont need to conserve coal (which was the original reason for doing it), farming is mechanised, and if this board is anything to go by, the good mood more light brings is a fallacy. There is an arguement it helps tourism, but how many tourist attractions are open that late anyway?
And piry anyone with a kid under 10, trying to get them to sleep this week (also easter holidays of course) is impossible.

I turned up at the hospital to see my dad today thinking it was 11am, only to be told his ward had closed for lunch because its actuallt 12pm. Doh!

I think one of the main reasons for the standardisation is that there's a notable increase in traffic accidents, especially when the clocks go forward. People tend to be late for work so drive carelessly etc. | | | |
