i think you should probably leave the room. I'd consider the first cheese shown if it got it's veins done.

Lockdown Cheeses on 11:28 - Oct 5 with 1845 views | Toast_R | I tried some Vegan cheese for the first time the other day, I have a friend who works for a cheese company and they're about to start distributing it as a new line. F*cking disgusting, zero taste and zero nutritional value. God knows what shit they put in it. Hate to be a Vegan.
Lockdown Cheeses on 11:34 - Oct 5 with 1835 views | BklynRanger | Had a manchego from M&S yesterday - nothing fancy about it but was a really nice one - beige wrapper. Can anyone recommend a good online cheese shop?

I accidentally bought some mature cheddar from Tescos which turned out to be vegetarian - I now understand people who claim not to like cheese. Even my dog gave me the skunk eye when I dropped a bit in his bowl.
| Did I ever mention that I was in Minder? |

Manchego sounds like the baddie in a Chuck Norris movie.

I was intrigued by that cheese, it sounds and looks good so I investigated. Wikipedia says: "Queso de Valdeón is a Spanish blue cheese from León. The cheese is made in Posada de Valdeón, in the northeast of the province of León, and is wrapped in sycamore maple, or chestnut leaves before being sent to market. The cheese has a very intense blue flavor, but is not as yellowed or as biting as its cousin Cabrales". I'm glad to hear it's not as "biting" as Cabrales because we came across Cabrales during our holiday in Asturias years ago (imagine holidaying abroad ) and boy was it strong. That's what happens when a cheese is dumped in a cave to mature. I didn't mind cabrales but Mrs R from Afar was not keen at all.

Lockdown Cheeses on 19:36 - Oct 5 with 1649 views | WatfordR | Missed this thread first time around. God knows how! As many of you know, I'm a market trader selling amongst other things, cheeses. I specialise in British cheeses, but can obviously buy most cheeses wholesale. So if anyone wants any bought and delivered, please give me a shout and I'll see what I can do. I'd recommend two cheeses currently, Gorwydd Caerphilly, which I think is as good as any British cheese out there. A grown up cheese, not strong, but a complex flavour, buttery, lemony and mushroomy. And Garstang Crumbly Lancashire, a bit yogurty in taste but I could eat it all day. Grate it onto your omelette, best omelette I've ever had!
