If qpr were the only team to go under on 21:51 - May 23 by Juzzie
You should go if that’s what you really want. QPR are great, but not to the extent where it holds you back.
For a very long time QPR was a big part of my life but then I had kids and had to stop going. Do I miss it? Hell yeah, but I love my kids more.
Agree with this. If and when I ever stop following England away in the cricket every winter, I plan to then spend most winters in NZ and summers back here. If I was younger I would probably emigrate there now. Absolutely love the place. Lots of my cricket mates have never come home from England tours of NZ. If you fancy it you should go for it before the chances passes you by.

NZ. Best country in the world by far. Set up a QPR over there

I've never been to New Zealand. Went to oz twice in my twenties and loved it but never felt like I wanted to live there. It's a long long way away.
I've got a mate who's emigrated to New Zealand. He moved there with his Kiwi girlfriend and bought property near Tauranga. Supposed to be lovely there but not an easy place to settle. He visited here last summer and he reckons that they miss the life and would like to move back if they could afford to buy.
No two ways you are a long way away from rest of world - good & bad with that. Very different pace especially vs London. Have met good few who’ve made shift through local QPR group & this site and doesn’t seem to be many regrets. Do need more than my bloody Warriors though, Also for Clive our local media industry is tough at moment Bauer pulled pin on most of our magazines, mainstream getting screwed by digital etc.

When I’m not watching a Rangers game I’m known to frequent North Greenford/Hanwell Town/Harrow Borough/Wembley/ Wealdstone and Saint Panteleimon games. But it’s not the same. For one there’s no stress involved so I actually find Non League relaxing. I could never fall for another club but I always want my local clubs to win.

Move abroad. QPR's the only thing that keeps me here now. Jealous of my mate Joe emigrating to NZ and watching the Warriors every other weekend, could happily do that.
Are you for real? If you are, then have a word son!
It strikes me that you’re not serious about emigrating to Godsown. If you were, then you would not allow something as fickle as a football club, and certainly not our shower from W12, to stand in your way.
You can always come back if it doesn’t work out, but don’t forego the potential for amazing life-experiences in favour of being sat on your butt for the next few decades in the same seat at the C&S; talking and moaning about the same crap.
It wouldn’t be so bad, but the Asahi group will probably flog the C&S, the likes of Eze, BOS and their successors will happily drop QPR like many before them and move on to bigger and better things in a heartbeat; the Rangers will habitually make the same errors; and we’re assuming the club doesn’t fold at some stage!
Get a shifty on fella.

Seriously... you should go, utter madness to be letting Just QPR hold you back.

If I were a London resident, I'd be nipping down to Vale Farm, maybe get the odd Wealdstone fixture in as well.

It is a long way, but still only 24hrs on two flights. I'm thinking of spending the winter there again this winter playing cricket for 3-4 months. Absolutely love the place. First went in 2008. Been back for 5 long stints since then.
With regards to life, it depends what you like I guess. Much, much, much more relaxed and friendly lifestyle than London/SE England. If I had kids I probably would have emigrated to NZ to give them a relaxed outdoor lifestyle and better childhood. I know many who have gone to NZ and never come back and they don't regret it one bit

With emigration you have to accept things are and will be different, culturally and so on.
New Zealand is probably a place you need to adapt too a bit more than you think you would.
Tauranga is lovely and great beaches and stuff, but NZ is quieter (generally) than South East and different.
For kids it by and large will give them a better upbringing these days BUT nowhere is perfect.
Both my sisters live in Sydnmey and both enjoy it 1 certainly isnt coming back, the other misses parts of London (I think) life, but I fear if she comes back after about 4 years she maybe in for a shock.
She was meant to come back in June but with CV19 obviously this won't happen for a long time now. The other just had a baby out there and is likely to stay, married but as in Sydney cannot yet afford a gaff - something we share with Sydneysiders.

Unimaginable that it would happen. But if it did as I live 5 minutes walk from Welwyn Garden City F. C. I would go there. Have been loads of times when the Rs have been away. Leave home at 10 to 3 ,get home before 5. Seen some great games there nice clubhouse cheap beer. Which I can take pitch side, burger or hot dog if I want one. It's a no brainer.

With football becoming more and more crap to me I have already transferred my sporting viewing and attendance to cycling and biathlon. Went to the biathlon World Championships in Anterselva northern Italy in February it was fantastic. Great competition and wonderful camaraderie among fans from so many nations. Fans had their favourites but were supportive of all competitors often reserving as much support for last place finishers as winners.
At one point I stood in the stand and counted 26 national flags around me. There is no rush to rip fans off with excessive prices for entrance, souvenirs or concessions. The most expensive food or drink item was only €5.50. Hoping to go to Pokljuka, Slovenia for next year’s champs and hope that the setting is even half as beautiful as Anterselva (See below), no man made stadium can match that natural amphitheater.
Football started losing me years ago and the virus has just reaffirmed that for me, though I do love to visit this site for opinion and nostalgia rather like watching old football videos on YouTube.
I do watch my old local team Dulwich Hamlet from afar and when I next come to visit would be more inclined to pay to watch them than the exorbitant championship prices. To write this makes me very sad as I was an avid follower home and away for so many years and some of my best life memories came with following the R’s. For those that share a markedly different view from me I hope that continues to be the case and that QPR can prosper in the future and I can applaud from afar.
So the answer to the original question is Dulwich Hamlet.

They buried the hatchet and now have plans to redo the ground with homes (the usual 40% affordable BS thrown in). Getting almost 3,000 per game at the level they play is fantastic but I’m with you I liked it when the stadium had the covered terrace the length of one side of the pitch. The stadium actually hosted games during the 1948 Olympics.
I played for my school team William Penn at the wonderful Greendale fields that were behind one of the goals back in the day when even the roughest comprehensive schools had access to quality sports facilities for their Games lessons, the location had four beautiful grass football pitches, two grass hockey pitches, tennis courts and a great big building with multiple dressing rooms. Seems those days are long gone.
