Apologies if this has been talked about before, but I've not seen it mentioned here or written about anywhere else. Had a little look in the club shop and could see that what kits were left were discounted heavily. Usually a sign of a new kit incoming.
In a way not bringing out a new one in times of hardship for many would be a nice touch, but on the other hand the club also needs to get some cash rolling in.

yep, and suspect we'd changed every year before that for at least 12 years.
Ah stop Antti, no way could it be that long. I clearly remember uproar when the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd brought out a new kit even though they had a new one a couple of years previously. Couldn't possibly be 30 years ago

Looks great. I feel like a couple of teams have been using black and gold for away kits recently (Everton, maybe Chelsea?) but the subtle hoops make this version feel very much like a QPR take on that template.
Agree that it would look better without the little QPR logos all over it. Just pulled out my 91/92 Brooks shirt though, and it has them (albeit less visible) so maybe it's intended as a nod back to that design?
I reckon that the home kit will be the same layout, hoop width etc, but with the gold replaced by yellow, which I'd be very happy with.

Looks pretty good to me. Screams “unrelenting march to Championship domination” to me. The visual is De Wijs trampling defenders on his way to thundering in a header to put us 4-0 up away from home somewhere northern.

I was just about to post - look forward to the pink and yellow referees when we wear that kit - beat me to it!
Referees hardly ever wear black now anyway regardless of what colour kits teams are wearing...one other bit about modern football I (quite sadly) feel sad about.
Funny how different people have different tastes too...I really like the little QPR initials embossed all over it. Hope its replicated on the home strip. I really like how the 94/95 had loads of little badges embossed on it, and the 95/96 one had "QPR" in blue/white dots across the hoops.
