Absolutely fantastic.
Can someone confirm to me who he looks like?
Or have I missed something?

IDK but I think Field looks like Chris Martin

Yes, he looks like the future captain of Ireland.

Jack Charlton, short a few dinners.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

A very shrewd buy this lad. Composed, tough and learning very fast.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

That we are not missing Jordy is the best testament of all.

Doing very well, he is decent player, can play football, heads the ball well, battles for the ball and his attitude appears to be 'spot on'. Excellent signing thus far.

He is all skin and bones to be honest.

Have we ever had an Irish CB who diesnt take prisoners.

Think neither Stanislaus + Semenyo made it to the final whistle after receiving some of Big Jimmy's man-marking in recent games. Deeney got nothing out of him today.

Also very noticeable he is now calling the shots at the back, and seems to be talking to Dickie lots at key times in games

Dunne is good, but Brum's young uns made it men against boyz. Deeny was better than usual but he had to be.

Dunne is a great find by the recruitment team.

zzzzzzzzzz

Deeney got nothing out of him because he had to play 10-15 yards outside our box, which is exactly where you want Deeney to be. Dunne was excellent but a solid line from all 3 CBs.

No coincidence we've stopped conceding so many from set pieces now. Great find.

Looks quite similar to Conor Masterson I think.

Half man, half machine.

Has looked the part from day one, amazed Sean Dyche of all people let him go.

Would have loved see him play alongside Paul Parker.

Whenever I think about centre backs, I always ask 'would I take him over Danny Shittu?' (who is my favourite CB of the last 20-odd years).

Yep.

But Danny is still my favourite.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'
