At least Wall are holding Blackburn, Posh trying to beat Bournemouth and Barnsley winning again. We really sparked them back to life. Sunday is now a bloody huge game. Yikes.

Dickie, Dieng, Willock, Chair even Jimmy D could get picked off Wallace, Albert, Charlie even JoJo ageing so we could loose half this squad within the next 2 years, so qpr squad as is now wont be here in 2 years. We pishball along the back line V Luton then in all likelihood cant see anything more than a point at best(Blimey I'm getting hopeful again) |
Not having a go at you per se - but does make me laugh that one minute the players are hopeless and yet come the summer half the team is going to get 'picked off'

Indeed - I thought manager identifies the targets & DOF and CEO try and get them and report back on fee/wage demands etc. Collaboration doesn't make sexy headlines though does it?!
| Around the Grounds on 15:50 - Mar 9 with 2412 views | Malintabuk | Don't think we have given up just think February was a really bad month and unfortunately with such a thin squad we have to preserve with the same players and not able to really freshen things up. I still think the Hendrick loan was not really needed, and though it is bad to perhaps equate our slump with him, but we don't seem to be the same team as in January with him in the team. Such a shame did fancy at the least a semi final place in the play off Agree with a lot I think we will struggle next year to make the play offs again as serial yo yo Norwich will be down, possibly Burnley and Watford and they will be hard to overcome | | | |

I haven't and you might not have, but the Op's opening line is "bye bye play offs"

You could say the same with Fulham, Bournemouth and West Brom. It's the same every year. As long as our best players don't go on a free, it'll all be part of the rebuilding. Look how long it took Brentford. Amazes me how people want to tear it all up (not saying you) at the slightest blip. When we had Schteve three seasons ago I couldn't ever see us with some bright young players, a balanced squad, challenging for the play offs. If they can do that then I trust them going forward. I know people will say that other clubs have done more with less - arguably only Luton, but they're still only one point ahead - but there are also a number of clubs that have done less with more: Bristol City, Birmingham, Derby and Reading all come to mind.

I agree with everything you’re saying. It’s okay to have a moan about our recent form (I’m guilty of this) but it’s very important to keep our progress in perspective. Bottom line, we’re at the right end of the table for once and still in the fight! I was feeling down about it a few days ago, but the closer we get to Sunday I feel my optimism coming back. As Brian said, you’ve got feel alive and enjoy the ride!

Don't think I implied or indeed said the players are hopeless.

Starting this weekend Come on U RRR's

Took Brentford 8 seasons to get out of the best league in the world the Championship and one thing you learn is expect the unexpected.Try having a bet and get more than 6 games results right on a Saturday. Apart from Fulham every side has had poor runs look at Sheffield United Middlesborough and Forrest at the start of the season.Teams like Millwall Luton Huddersfield and Coventry have the lowest budgets and are all still in the mix as poor as you might appear to be the fact is you are very much in it. I would add if you do go up you will have plenty of money and along with plenty of defeats it’s no fun.
| Around the Grounds on 10:59 - Mar 10 with 1822 views | Watford_Ranger | We’re still in this. Granted we’re odds-against to make it into the top six but if you offered me this position at the start of the season I’d have taken it. | | | |
| Around the Grounds on 13:18 - Mar 10 with 1695 views | Spaghetti_Hoops | Always think that the play-off zone of the Championship is more or less random. Luck, or a mistake here, a bit of quality there is what determines results not 'form'. The other key to our results is the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition. Do they suit us? Well we beat them 2-0 in November and their latest win against Coventry was undeserved. We will have 8 days recovery and prep. Them 5 days after away matches 3 days and 3 days before that. They should be fairly knackered. If Hendricks is a reason for the dip in results then we must be a very fragile squad. Personally I would rather we had stayed with Johanssen, Field and the younger midfield players but that is partly hindsight. | | | |

Another big game on April 2nd that Sky isn't showing, Barnsley - Reading. Provided we don't get promoted, Reading would be a better bet for us to take points off next season than Barnsley!

I want Barnsley to keep winning, send Derby and Reading down.
