That was a great Friday morning. Was a bit non-plussed when I saw what the games were but bloody brilliant. Pleased the Warriors are hinting at getting some sht together.

Definitely a masochistic streak having any affection for Warriors Clive - great to come out right side of a 1pt margin & sweeter against Peyton who dumped us for Cowboys. Shite start to season but 3 wins on bounce now without being that great. Getting back to Auckland will be massive after couple of years over in Aust. Just need to keep in mix till then.

The Warriors tried their hardest not to win…Johnson running on the 5th tackle play with 2 minutes left of normal time so Walsh had to try the drop goal - all gut, no brain. Makes them good to watch, I suppose.

Expansion teams good for the sport mate. And the Warriors have done so much to keep the show on the road the last couple of years. I like to see Catalans and Toulouse do well over here for the same reason. (And also because they're banging away trips)

Have they still got Hansen there as high performance coach? Money for old rope.
That's a good question. His contract ran to October 2021, and there seems to be no word whether he left or stayed. Not much sign of the winning culture he was brought in to promote either.
A good line from one of the podcasts I follow, instead of spending five years building a Centre of Excellence, why not start with a Centre of Adequacy?

That might actually work for one of my previews next season!
