Completely agree their left back was arguably covering but that was a horrific studs first knee-high challenge.

One thing that pissed me off was that because Bonne needed treatment as a result of the foul that prevented him from getting in on goal, he wasn't allowed on the pitch when the free kick was taken. In different circumstances the red would have been a price worth paying. | |

I think people are misreading what I said. I was up in the South Africa Road stand and when it happened we all said it was a foul without doubt but it’s only when you see it from the Stan Bowles side that you see he leads with a high foot. You couldn’t see that in real time on the SAR side. I thought Bonne was excellent in his cameo role. Was sent on to give their defence problems and harried, shut down and carried the ball very well. | |

Ref even took a bit of time to look at position of other defenders. It was as clear a red card as I've seen in a long time at a match from my position. | |
