The current targets we are interested in seem to be falling one by one.
Why does it take so long to get anyone in? Are they really interested in playing for us
or anyone especially those out of contract.
We are now less than 48 hours before our first game and have no fit experienced centre backs, unless you include Fox who has not had a pre-season.
At the end of last season Ainsworth said this would all be sorted.
I cannot believe this situation is his fault as he seems to have many targets which he must have identified.
I fear that with our current record against lower league teams in cups and friendlies that relegation this season might be followed with another next season.

It's a chicken and egg scenario. Hard for the fans to get “behind” players that play like absolute rissoles without a conscience or a thought about people who fork out £££££s, cancel holidays etc etc to follow the team. |  | | |

If I was Steve Cook or Danial Ayala I'd hold out for a couple of years and a few extra £ks per week as this club has painted themselves so far into the corner that they will HAVE to pay more than they want to.
