Let’s bring all this to an end once and for all.

Might be a better option than Frey based on current form.

If you moulded Celar and Frey into one body You'd just have a bloke.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

He's a Celar alright. The question is whether there's a buyer?

I can't pin this one on the club. Who saw his stats and didn't think it was a great signing.

Sometimes they don't work out.

No point in putting together highlights of his time here.

It would be a ridiculously transparent Celar tape.

Just show the highlights of Cardiff away last season: that shows what he’s all about 👍

And who doesn’t need some Zan Celartape at Christmas…all those presents won’t wrap themselves.

Or score in the Championship

Showing him the Celar door would be fitting. His performances, Cardiff and bits of Watford apart, were horrorshows.

He can finish, makes great runs, but does not have the pace to get ahead of the defender.
He cannot hold the ball up so, is not an out against a press and does not dribble or head the ball.

When people say "he scored two good goals against Cardiff, and then he got injured". Like as if he was about to kick on, let's be clear, he scored against Cardiff who went down. That's the same Cardiff that we drew with in pre-season, when we had a broken team until we started all the signings. And no he would not have kicked on, as hes just had a spell abroad and failed to do it. So, that Cardiff game was a one off.

Sounds like another Washout, really an average L1 forward.

What he did do, was show us why Kelman needed to be sold for max monies as we know what L1 forwards look like. And also show us what Champ forwards hidden down the lower leagues look like ala Burrell and Kone, we can sign them.

In 5 years time, people will go "oh yeah that dude, forgot we had him".

zzzzzzzzzz

anyone who watched his playing videos knew he wouldnt be the fit for us , not a holding up type striker , more of a goal poacher , we have and never will need on e of them so yes sorry does go down on the club to think he would be any use to use , shed load of money down the shitter again

Hard to disagree with your post however, two things.

By whatever metrics/analytics/horoscope/tea leaves we used to decide to sign him, have they been significantly changed so that Buzz and Kone are not flukes? ZC was yet another awful striker purchased with money we frequently don't have, since before the first coming of Charlie Austin.

Second, when all is said and done: He scored the winner the night we won the 'real' European Cup in Perpignan!

We move on, hopefully, but I would be amazed if we got anything for him.

Unfortunately he hasn't scored since Perpignan.

He hasn't even got off the bench for several of Dusseldorf's recent games.

I've tuned in to a couple of their games, he's been rooted to the bench.

I suspect after hitting the heights he did in the south of France, life after Perpignan ran the risk of petering out by comparison.
