I think, thankfully, this would only have been an issue if we were really struggling this season. As we are doing OK it seems a bit of a moot point.

I know not all agree, but I loved Marti, and think he did a brilliant job with the paucity of attacking options at his disposal. So a polite round of applause from me - if / when we go 4-0 up in the second half I would not be adverse to The Song making an appearance, swiftly followed by support for JS.

However this is at a Loftus Road where some cheered Sinclair Armstrong and some booed Lyndon Dykes on their return (both of which I strongly disagree with) - so each to their own, no doubt.

A bit of a welcome back clap would be fine in my book. But then we must beat his side handsomely.

I was pleasantly surprised at the warm reception Dykes got when we played Brum last week as he warmed up down the SA road side. I find it cringeworthy when we boo ex-managers/players. Far better to have no response at all for those we don't like. It would kind of say, 'We've forgotten all about you'.

That was not our finest hour. Nothing game, Cole couldn't be bothered at all, until he was booed (for what I have no idea, the temerity of being a good player) and then he turned it on.

Like sledging Brian Lara, you don't wake them up.

Fck him. Spent most of his time here trying to get away, so couldn't give a toss about him.

I clapped Dykes as the bloke, though a bit rubbish, always gave 100%. And you can't ask for more than that.

Indeed, the game was dying on Its feet at the time, he also looked a bit mystified by It, and then we couldn't cope with his deserved backlash.

As for Cifuentes I've got no need to boo him or clap him, he means nothing to me.

Reminded me of the pre season friendly at Wycombe a few years ago.
Ainsworth was cheered and had his own chant, only for his first touch to be booed all round
Even he laughed.

He was more than booed if I remmber, there was a loud rendition of him being something that thymes with tanker. Cue the hatrick.

After scoring the hatrick, he was subbed off, and I think was then applauded as he went off.

As for Marti I wouldn't boo him.

To me, he's just another manager of a club who's sense of entitlement is now off the scale.
I want us to beat them, but not just because Marti manages them now.

JS for whatever reason doesn't seem to have anywhere near the same level of support that Marti had, even when we were in dire straights and losing every week.
