Watching sky sports news earlier the preston forward got sent off for a quality head butt on a hull player. This to follow up a previous ban for biting, and another for racist abuse. He sounds like a real charmer!
Osmasic's ban for racially abusing Hannibal had never sat well with me. The blokes obviously not a nice man, on the football pitch anyway, but he was found guilty 'on the balance of probabilities', which is too low a bar as far as I'm concerned.

It's the legal standard that applies in civil and non-judicial proceedings, so it would be overly-burdensome and unfair for football to be required to operate to the higher legal standard of, beyond reasonable doubt.

To be fair I might have headbutted the Hull player after sticking his face in mine after he'd committed the foul!

I think his subsequent behaviour vindicates the decision.
I don't know him and from what is said not a nice bloke, but I can't stand things like that, the Hull player fowling him, confronting him like johnny big bollox and then throwing himself on the floor as the other bloke's forehead slightly brushed against his. Shameful stuff
In most professions, POTUS excepted, a rap sheet like that would see you out of a job. But football, no, you can score goals lad, so crack on with being the biggest dick you can.
saw it on sky sports news, crazy , just back from 10 game ban for proven racism, now nuts a player in face, triggers a mass brawl? if he gets a 3 natch ban he is lucky, could be 5 or more given the track record. nearing 20 match bans already, in half a season!!

He was found guilty on 'the balance of probabilities' and not 'beyond reasonable doubt'. That threshold is too low for me.
Other things he has done doesn't mean he did this.if you want to judge players by their previous actions, look no further then Hannibal - recently fined for spitting at Leeds fans, sent off for stamping on someone's stomach etc.

I wouldn't trust either of them, being my point.
It's the threshold of evidence for all civil litigation in England & Wales. It would be absurd for the higher criminal case threshold to apply in football disciplinary process because the penalties don't justify it.
