It is typical that we sell one striker for another, only to find the new one is broken as well. I can only assume he bashed his knee standing up from the contract signing on ceremony?

Aha - it’s just a CONTRACT injury then ?

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Said it when he signed ..... everyone hates an "I told you so" but....

The fella is done.
Darra and his Posh mob have tucked us up. Again.

I have a free morning and just read Clive’s report when Poku signed. Over 180 EFL games played in League 2 and League 1 by 23 years old, clearly not a crock when we signed him. Reading it again made me think we do have a potential star in the building. I know nothing about hamstrings but if necessary don’t play him again this season in 1st team to make sure, Beale owes Chrissy Willock for bringing him back too early.

Id agree normally with the dont play him this season , one issue does anyone trust the meidcal advice being given to the players this and last season ?
at any other club yeah nothin to play for send him to the best of the best and get him 100% right , are we likely to do that ?

He did miss three months with a hammer injury in his last year with Posh.
Now, this season.
A long rest, as you say, may be needed to overcome this.

You can play 1,800 games but if your leg falls off then your leg has fallen off.

Now I'm sure our club did a thorough and detailed medical - we have a history of that.
We didn't panic when Dazza Mac belled us up to say the lad looks like he's going to Scotland but if you get in quick..... not that a move within England meant Posh got considerably more money.

When you miss 17 weeks straight due to a hamstring injury then it's a serious one and in a game based on sprints, twists and turns that'll hamper your career if you're unlucky.

You feel a club of our stature can lash out £900k and get less than double figures out of a player per season? Fine but I disagree totally.

I'm praying that Burrell makes a full recovery and also everything I've heard on Poku is a wind up.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
