How are we all getting there?

I tried a number of times yesterday to buy 3 adult Rochdale tickets in level 1 for £40 each. It kept directing me to blocks 141, 142. They are both on the other side of the tunnel and I am absolutely sure they are Borehamwood seats. In all 6 attempts to buy, spread over 6 hours, there were never any seats in block 103 - and despite me asking for 3 tickets it kept sending me a message to say there were only 2 seats left in block 104. In other words the system wouldn't sell me a 'side of pitch' ticket and was only letting me buy £35 tickets behind the goal. Now you are telling me they have released more seats in block 103 and 104. I guess that is why you thought we'd sold 2,000 seats yesterday than we had - they hadn't in fact released the whole block.
Anyway I have mine now and will enjoy the day. Still think the ticketing system is shite.
I can see that many of my fellow Daleys didn't like my observations above. Was just hoping we could create a bit more hype so that we might find a way to attract more fans so that we can get nearer to the 5,000 target we crave. |

141 and 142 are Borehamwood blocks for starters.
Recommended process for buying tickets and choosing blocks (done on PC - haven't tried on phone)
1. Enter how many tickets in Rochdale ends wanted by type of person
2. Enter Price Category
3. Enter Area/Stand
4. Enter Block
5. Press Find Tickets For Me
Below are the
Price Category 1 East:
- North Level 1 - Blocks 103 (81) and 104 (26)
- North East Level 1 - Block 105 (6)
Price Category 2 East:
- North Level 1 - Block 104 (26)
- East Level 1 - Block - 109 (19) and 113 (535)
I suspect Block 104 are the same 26 seats but double listed
Same for any Cat 2 Standing in Block 113
If you want along the side of the pitch then blocks 103 and 104 are the best that you can get.
103 is nearer to the half way line than 104 but probably only level with the edge of the box with the middle blocks being reserved for corporate types |  |

Of course I did. I followed all the right instructions. All morning it was directing me to seats that were in the Borehamwood end. I perservered and kept trying. In the afternoon it would only let me buy £35 tickets behind the goal. I have them now so nothing can be done to change that. I stand by my view that the system is flawed. For anyone moaning about the numbers and not taking as many as 2008 I certainly think this time will be a lot better organised. Yes there might have been a lot more Dale fans at Wembley but there were thousands sat up in the top tiers miles away from other Dale fans lower down. This time we will be all together and the atmosphere will be amazing. Just need to go and win it now. |

It looks like we've near enough sold 102-113 (minus about 200 tickets). Then theres 2 sold out blocks in level 2.+ We'll have 101 which would be used for staff and families etc.
AI guesstimates at just over 10k. I think we're there personally with another day of sales. The club have probably been tracking it and were aware tickets weren't flying out the door during the week so a tracker via social media would feel a bit pointless and possibly open to ridicule when all focus should be on the team this week.

The numbers will be smaller than when we played Stockport at Wembley but i bet the noise coming from the fans tomorrow will be twice as loud. Dropping to the National League has transformed our support, we now have a lot more young supporters and with that comes positivity, excitement, passion, bedlam and a bit of daftness at times unfortunately. The Pearl Street now feels like a proper home end and the atmosphere and noise is amazing. Stockport and Oldham have the exact same set up behind the goals with young fans gravitating in one area and generating the noise. It's better now than i ever remembering it being, even in the 1970s/1980s in the Sandy Lane. It's needed us to drop into the National League and win a lot of games to generate all this and also the great work by the 1907 group and the social media people at the club. Even if things go bad at Wembley i think the improved support will continue to improve next season. Before all this it was like sitting in gods waiting room, a old support base who attended games mainly through habit. The atmosphere at games is different now and it will be at Wembley. From my seat in Main Stand block E I can confirm singing (key's been a bit high for us old uns) and rhythmic clapping in the last 2 games led by a couple of new younger (under 70) fans - long may it continue.
