Hey all,
HBO Max seems to have outwitted NordVPN, and is throwing up 'Are you using a VPN' messages.
I've tried clearing the cache and deleting browsing data, which always works.
Can anyone recommend any fixes or alternative VPN's, please?

I use Proton VPN and it's pretty reliable. Never tried it for HBO. |  |

Can you select your proxy server?
A lot of places are starting to blacklist "known" ip ranges, so I find swapping over usually fixes it.
I've been using PIA, which is great, as it covers loads of devices.

The problem is that I need a VPN but I need to route through a British IP, to watch HBO's Tour de France.
HBO are known to be very, very tight on VPN's.

Probably not much help but if you have Sky then HBO Max is free as part of the package, think it's only the basic package though |  | | |

I'm having a few problems with the of late, charmR
Depends on who's stream you want to watch.
QPR - no problems, the occasional reload.
Netflix - I've had no problems.
MLB - no problems, the occasional reload of late.
HBO - up until now, it's been mostly ok, but with some cache-clearing and restarts and reloads.
Seems like the providers are clueing up a bit. | |

Sorted.
Took a few hours, but got NordVPN to send me about forty back-up server numbers, should those listed in the app don't work.
It's getting more and more difficult.
Looked into Proton and PIA as well - both look good, but HBO Max might be better than all of them! | |

Glad you're sorted Brian. I was going to suggest that if you didn't get to watch it, I could have had a look at the bbc report of the days racing, and then recreated the best bits for you. I'm sure someone would have lent me a bicycle, but if not, would a push scooter have been alright? Lots of the kids round here have them, and they're still small enough for me to bully. In fact, as there's loads of them, I could have used them as the peloton. It'd be great, they're size making them look like they're far behind me as they chased me. | |

Brian, I don't know if you have access to SC4, the Welsh speaking channel, but they have coverage of the Tour De France if nothing else works.
There is also Kodi and sport apps if you have any type of Android box ,you can download on there. My SurfShark VPN works on all of those apps. |  |
