Best performance in terms of actual football played in years, possibly the last decade.

Smyth was electric. Kamara all class. Kemper absolutely immense. Edwards imperious. And obviously great to see Kone bury a few.

Huge kudos to Stephan for drilling into them that sharp passing and patterns.

This is a play off squad.

It's the coach. He is the best I've seen in decades simply because he is making average players better, Smyth being the main example. He also 'finds a way' when injuries pile up.

He is a different level to anything since Gerry.

He is out coaching his opposite number regularly now Nuno at West Ham for example

Disagree we were 5-0 up well within his rights to have a pop at goal.

Squares it to Alemayehu though and he has a tap in.

Don’t get too low after defeats, too high after……who am I kidding….all aboard HMS Piss the League. If we can’t enjoy days like today, no point in being a football fan!

Just back home, soaked through today, but don’t care, after that performance. Absolutely immense performance today front to back. Kone, Smyth, Poku, Kamara, Jimmy, Ronnie, Boy, Charles and Let’s not forget Adamson, I felt trepidation when he first came in this season, such an improvement and likely to get better. Also got to Mention Smythy, he’s one of the most dangerous wide players in the league, his decision making is looking a lot better, Kone’s opener. And Finally King Richard, that’s what he can do for us! He’s had a lot of detractors of late and proved them all wrong in a big way today, against the best defense in the league! Good to see JV, Dembele and Koki back today. Also
Spoke to Burrell prior to kick off, hopes to be back in two weeks!
Looks like Stephan and his team are beginning to get us playing some very good football, a lot to like about us!

Maybe do some research Vitor…beaten by a better team on the day with the wrong approach away from home.

Swansea boss Vitor Matos said: “QPR started much better and were clinical. First chance: score. Second chance: score. Then a penalty. That’s up to us. We need to do better and we can do better.

“We did all the wrongs today. But you need to understand what’s wrong and need to improve on that. If you just put it under the carpet, it’s not right.”

Good luck drying your hair and tracksuit out on Dave’s Coaches.

Yes I have, thanks for asking, but just think how it would have made that young man feel to score his first competitive goal for the club at the Loft End.

I mentioned this on another thread but the two early saves by Pierce Charles were at vital moments, and meant Swansea never got a look in and we never had to doubt ourselves. He adds such confidence with his distribution but those saves were a big foundation for the performance and result. Loved the way Kemper was willing to lose a leg to stay on too.

Think he’s just absolutely desperate to get his first goal of the season. Good to have him back. And shows that Stephan was true to his word about giving him a chance.

Go up and bank the money and use it to strengthen for the future.

Great decision by Julien to play Smyth in a more central attacking role. Swansea hadn't prepared for that. He was outstanding.

How do you choose a mom from that lot today. Adamson, Smyth, Kone, Edwards, Kemper all excellent. The rest weren't bad either.

If we'd scored two or three more, it wouldn't have looked out of place.

We might of had to wait 35/40 years, but we finally got our Stuart Pearce! Boy Kemper is a 'kin colossus and to think: we'vealso got Cirkin, too!! I suspect most right sided wingers won't enjoy playing against him of Cirks.

Everyone today was 'kin on it. Bloody well done all at the Rangers.

With this coach, and I think he needs a lot of credit, and squad, the only thing that stops us being top 8 is injuries.

Got that 1st goal early and never looked back. So pleased Kone has got himself going. Thought Smyth really helped with his first by cutting it back to him rather than taking shot himself.

I was talking with the bloke who sells the community raffle tickets in the White Horse before the game, and he was saying that he was accompanying a QPR fan today who was probably attending his last ever QPR game due to a terminal illness.
At least they saw a fantastic performance and a victory in their last game.

This is going to become a stuck record from me, but the important point is the last two sentences.

Horrendous as our injuries have been, this is a squad that plays as a squad, not just a few key individuals who carry the rest.

Injury crisis? What injury crisis?!? Seriously though, was pleasantly surprised that we managed to put out such a strong team and that they all seemed to be fit. Obviously we still have a lot of important players out; Burrell, Madsen, Chair and Lamptey to name a few that could be really influential this season. But we still managed to have quality players in every position and that's testament to the squad depth we have this season. Was really pleased to see substitutions that seemed more normal rotation and freshening rather than fitness management and damage control.

A statement win. More or less perfection from every player. This team means business and we have a manager who knows what he's doing. Let's not let the occasional defeat rattle us. Get behind this team and we can go all the way.

We have a good season about once a decade. This could well be it. Let's enjoy it!

Amen brother. We deserve it 👍

Yeah, pretty fascinating to look at the BBC stats because on the vast majority of them Swansea have "better" numbers. It doesn't matter how many stats you collect, it's not a very good way of summarising a football match, least of all that one.

Stats can do one. I'm only interested in goals for us...and less for the opposition 😁
