Had an horrendous journey home tonight, so stopped off on the way home at the McDonalds on the A505 just before you get to Duxford, it was rammed with Rangers , I didn’t realise so many of us live out east.
It wasn’t much better on the trains.I got to Colchester around 7pm and the greater Anglia app said that the next train to Stowmarket was at 21.25.Luckily the app was wrong and there was a train waiting on the platform, and I made it home just after 8pm.Absolutely soaked to the skin but who cares after a performance like that today?

One from East Carleton, village about 6 miles south of Norwich.
When fans were singing “Norwich’s a sh_thole” song in the concourse last season, I said to a bloke stood nearly “I say, I live here and I have to disagree, chaps” and he said “so do I. Wymondham”.
I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers.

I'm pleased to read that Phil.
I've not been feeling too well & had to miss the game watching a stream. Iain left the ground on the final whistle & managed to make the 5.36pm train to Colchester Town. Like you, GA was telling him he couldn't get back to Ipswich till after 9pm, so I got off my hypothetical death bed & picked him up from Marks Tey. Back home a little before our usual time.
I was in Norwich last weekend and got a taxi on the Saturday night - got chatting with the cabbie and told him we were all from the London area. He was originally from Harrow and as the conversation went on he seemed like a pleasant erudite chap, my QPR radar goes off so I ask him which football team he supports, of course he's Rangers

A good friend lives in Wymondham, spent many a summer’s evening in the Green Dragon beer garden
I've often thought the club should somehow facilitate and promote affiliate supporter clubs in the regions. Could just be breaking down club membership into regions. So, you are a QPR Member (East Anglia) for example. Within that you could be "ex-directory" (ie not interested in meeting local Rs) or "public" (open to idea of meeting or travelling with local Rs).
More generally, I'd be fascinated to see a heat map of where our members and folks in the database live - can't see there'd be any data protection issue with publishing anonymised numbers like 432 fans on the database in East Anglia.

I quite agree. There was a thread a while back about where Rs fans abide. It was clear those of us a stones throw from LR are a dying breed. From my bedroom window, I could see our ground - well, if it weren't for the 'ouses in between.
