Same as you mate, but also enjoyed some sisters of mercy, the mission, Bauhaus, all about eve and the cult.
Saw depeche mode quite a few times as well from Construction time again through to songs of faith and devotion I thought they were a cracking band and hugely original.
Never really saw myself as a goth though, and was despite my QPR addiction a relatively happy and cheerful soul without any constant urge to wear black and get moody. Thinking that back again, I did have a penchant for black motor bike jackets, socialising in Camden and starting reading too much fantasy literature. Christ, I may have been on the verge of gothdom after all without knowing it.
I think I must have reached salvation without knowing by spending 3 years in Copenhagen in 1990 as a single lad, where such things were abandoned in favour of chasing Danish girls and drinking great beer. Beer and women saved me. Who'd have thought?
