He has been brilliant the past few games (bar Barnsley, where nobody was brilliant). Don’t think there ever was a problem other than the ‘playing out from the back’ bit. Some stunning saves last night against Reading. Long may it continue. Well done Joe, especially given the bile directed by some ‘supporters’ when he needed support the most.

Agree he was excellent last night. His passing was confident and accurate, with little signs of the panic seen in some games. Couple of superb saves too.
Maybe Kelly is fit again.

"Maybe Kelly is fit again."

Your point being, Wren?

Kelly was fit first time when he had a few difficult games (and BTW wasn’t in the squad past night). His improvement has coincided with Kelly not being around and the loosening of “play out from the back or else you’re dropped” mentality. He’s done brilliantly.

He'll be fine.

An indictment of short-termism .

If it were up to this forum, we would have swapped him for any 37 year old premiership drop out in a flash.

Stick with.

Thought Joe played well last night and made some crucial saves, he also made some good saves against Charlton last Saturday. Confidence is returning.

He has been very good the last few games but to pretend that the only problem was 'playing out from the back' is frankly balderdash. He suffered a loss of form and confidence but has recently got his act together. Long may it continue.

Did well. Deserves a pat on the back for getting through his dodgy patch. Is only 24 and will have more clangers no doubt but there's a solid young keeper there.

think it’s a combination of pressure of playing out from the back with a very unforgiving audience!

Get rid of him.

He is worse than rob green, Roberts , johns, bankole , sommer , I’ve said many times before he has no concentration and switches off at crucial times we would be in the top six if it wasn’t for his clangers the defence the supporters have no confidence in him play kelly or recall dieng

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Anyone can make a mistake. Maybe even two but Lumley makes mistakes far too often and most every one costs is a goal

He’s just not goof enough for this league.

Time to make him 3rd choice?

Absolute disaster of a game for him today. A bit embarrassed for him. At fault for both goals and poor distribution.

The back 4 actually played pretty well, although they weren’t playing a great game.

But to lose when they had about 4 shots, conceding 2 again, both due to the keeper...it cannot keep happening. He’s individually cost us 4-5 goals minimum. We’ve played half a season and he’s played about 2/3s of them. He’s on for costing us 20 goals a season in individual errors. You can’t stay up with that let alone progress.

Joe Lumley is the worst goalkeeper I’ve ever seen in goal for us.

He’s bloody useless.

If Kelly is fit I'll be amazed if he isn't drafted in next game.

Yeah this can’t go on, never seen keeping of such a constant poor standard.

Lumley can't be blamed for the 2nd, we've struggled to defend crosses into the box all season and was a very poor free-kick to gift Hull when we had possession. 1st goal was a shocking mistake tho.

Neil Harris is no Warnock on the tactics front but with his 3 big lads either Lumley or Kelly is in for a testing 90 minutes.

QPR free kick: short pass back, pissball about for five minutes.

Hull free kick: deliver to dangerous area, score goal.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

He can. Watch where their goalscorer hits it from and the height he connects at.

Quality cross and static defending, very few Keepers would have gambled on coming for that.

Leistner"s mis-control and foul gifted them the free-kick in a dangerous position in the 89th minute.

Still Lumley doesn't gift the 1st and it's a different game.

I was sitting with a big group of lads and we all agreed Lumley was poor all game. Their winner was down to him. A Championship keeper has to save that - no question. As for his first mistake that was Sunday league stuff. He surely cannot be No1 in the keeper ranks and must be dropped.

Lumley had nothing to do all game, bar drop a dolly. Defending for 2nd is shocking, yet a again we don't have a defender within yards of the goalscorer. We need to sort but problems out in the transfer window.

The first conceded was horrible.

I initially thought Lumley could’ve done better for the second; but to me if anyone is more to blame - watching it back it looks like Hugill completely stops as his man steals in behind everyone to score.

Seems weird to see people so upset with Leistner for giving away the free kick, thought he was good today,

BFG won everything against their big number 9

Lumley is League 1. Get rid. Cost us so many points this season. He's so sloppy, too relaxed. Good shot stopper but that's the minium you need in this league
