Well having watched that again it really is the defence that needs some kind of specialist coaching. Kelly's ball out before the penalty was dreadful and Wallace's positioning as a result was poor. That said from the angle behind the goal he doesn't touch the lad at all does he but I can see why the ref gave it. First goal our back line weren't looking across the line at each other. It's basic stuff and if someone, anyone could teach these players it then we would be a lot better. |  |

Actually, forget the highlights. I certainly won't watch them having seen it all live. However, when the full game comes up on the Offy, just watch the first few minutes and try not to laugh or cry. That was right in front of us as well. Absolutely shambolic and amazing that we didn't concede in those first few minutes. |  | | |

Never watch the Sky highlights - Football League 10 minute version on the offy is usually pretty representative = although after what I read on here, this week I was pleasantly surprised we didn't look quite as awful as people made out on here - thought the pen was harsh btw. | | | |

not in the highlights but we were actually quite good for most of the first half. Eze and Chair both were making good dribbles and runs - the fludity of the 3 behind the striker caused them problems
However we kept going for a ball over the box to the man on the far post about 4 times or something and only once did it not go out of play. Why??! Also seem to have a big adversion to shooting outside the box when we actually have a few players who can produce that sort of quality. Can't be worse than hitting at Hugill so he can foul someone/be fouled but not get the foul/trip over his own feet |  |
