Anyone got a link to the cricket for starters?

Can't watch the cricket as I always jinx it!

Will probably watch Bundesliga III football on their Youtube channel at 12.30. Trouble with this is it seems to always feature Bayern II, and having just checked, they are on again away to Kaiserslautern.

Either that or will be leading QPR to glory on Football Manager.

Aw, great, thanks. Got it now. Had to scoot over to Amsterdam as I don't have C4 on my cable.

Might watch Tricky Trees v Bourne Mouth (copyright Sinton) later.
City game also on the radar.
Barca also,

Do we need the word "Batsmanship"? As in "Very good batsmanship"?

Surely "batting" will do.

I do wish the cricket pundits would desist from describing pitches as "flat". Per the MCC coaching manual, well at the least the edition of it I had as a lad, the correct adjective is

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Made me chuckle. Very true.

Also, it does tend to be "flat"' more often when the oppo are doing well, I notice.

It's usually called "a road" if it's really flat.

Might tune in to A place in the sun, see what Spanish house prices were in 2014.

That or the split in the dressing room that masquerades as Jeff Stellings Soccer Saturday.

Can't be arsed with cricket either.

Today I will mainly be learning Vietnamese and building Lego.

Stupid fekking weather

I might have a poo in a minute, a sort of builders poo the type where you sit on the bog for 10 minutes and think about nothing whilst you fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
That'll annoy Mrs Ted.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Sorry about the grainy photo. Played on this cricket pitch a number of times on tour, near the village of Nettlecombe in Dorset. Beautiful surrounds in the shadow of Eggardon Hill but the pitch is an absolute deathtrap. Big downhill slope and apparently the field used to be split in two by a hedgerow so there’s a dip half the way down the wicket. You can just about make it out in the photo. Almost unplayable at times but makes for an interesting game of cricket and they do the best teas!

Pace yourself, Ted. Don't do all the fun stuff before lunch.

Eze v Burnley.

Might give the rugby a go if the paint on my wall has fully dried. Will dig out some ill-fitting jeans and brown leather shoes.

Watching the World Skiing Championships on the BBC red button.
It’s not much but there’s nothing else to do!

Best thing about the cricket is seeing another part of the world outside the same four walls.

Four in a Bed's on in a bit.

I’m watching Jack Wilshire’s Bournemouth against Forest. They’ve got Grabban, Taylor, Colback and Lolley on the bench. Glad we have financial fair play anyway...

Was going to watch Forest v Bourne Mouth (copyright Sinton) but just realised they'll be doing a big Redknapp love-in, and I can't do lockdown and that as well.

So Leicester Crisps v The Stanley Stabbers for me.

Going to the playground in a minute. With two young kids I’ve forgotten what TV is. When it is on they hog it with Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Pooba and so on. Ive actually resorted to reading.

How come shots from the half-way line hardly ever go in?

It's a huge target, it's unguarded and the shot is taken by a player who can find a man from that range with ease. But a huge goal? No.

We had an indoor session last night but had no kids football for over a week with the snow. After a fairly benign start it's a terrible weekend and roads are blocking as quick as they are cleared so travel not safe and pitches snow covered and icy, have to sit tight for the day again.
Watching Leicester v Liverpool just now and will see what the rugby is doing after listening to Scottish football on wireless.
Got a Zoom quiz in the evening which we've carried on with every 3 or 4 weeks. I do enjoy it and keep in touch with good friends, usually a boozy night. Need a shave if I'm going to be seen by non family!
